The Sunday in the Park - The Lime Rock Concours and Gathering of the Marques is on the Sunday - this year, September 5, 2021 - between the two racing days of Labor Day weekend's Historic Festival. No other event in the U.S. combines a first-class Concours d'Elegance with quality vintage racing competition on the same property, all on the same weekend. Sunday in the Park is comprised of two features; nearly 200 outstanding entries are on display on the Sam Posey Straight in The Lime Rock Concours, with an additional 500+ cars celebrating the event around the rest of the 1.5 mile track in the Gathering of the Marques enthusiast meet.

The 2021 Sunday in the Park, The Lime Rock Concours will be a superlative show of beauty, elegance and speed, with interesting and diverse classes, in a perfect ambiance. The cars are grouped by purpose and/or year, not exclusively by make and model.

For the Concours specifically, a peer judging approach will be used, whereby the Best in Class and supplemental awards are determined by the members of each class, allowing us to maintain the spirit of fair competition while simplifying the judging process. We will maintain, however, our tradition of individual special awards for vehicles of unique interest, history or beauty, which will be determined by Chief Judge Bill Scheffler and judge colleagues on the field that day.

This year's featured marque is Porsche, with several Concours classes and racing classes in the Historic Festival.  Our Featured Collector is Steven Harris who will bring his extensive collection of the 911-based RS models.  This will be the first time all of these have been shown together at the same time.
